Funds for the Fays

. . . . . .

Now with both Fay and his wife Jan battling cancer,
those friends and partners will come together to support them at a
benefit jamboree on Sunday, April 6, 1 p.m., at the Mattydale VFW, 2000 Lemoyne Ave.

Fay’s career dates back to early days with the Jesse Derringer Show and the Wolf Mountain Band. He played a lengthy stint keeping the beat for the Mac Brothers Band and most recently tapped out the time for T.J. Sacco and Electric Rodeo. His distinctive harmony vocals kept his skills in demand on local stages.

Syracuse New Times Syracuse Area Music Award (Sammy) Hall of Fame fiddler Hal Casey and the Southern Comfort Band
headline the stellar lineup of guest performers, lending their skill
and support to the Fays’ cause at the benefit. Also slated to play are
Sacco, Wolf Mountain and Tom Gilbo and the Blue Suedes. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids. For more information, call 668-8600.
