After years of hiding out behind the mike and between the headset, WSYR-AM 570 afternoon gab-fest host Jim Reith showed his mug at the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year dinner last Thursday. While The New Times again placed second in the small-business category, we consider it a victory indeed to finally publish the face of Reith, who acted as emcee. During the businesspersons’ annual pat-on-the-back, Reith’s boss, local Clear Channel vice president Joel Delmonico, declared his boy ready to be seen by the public when his 3 to 7 p.m. Jim Reith Show is broadcast once a week from the Amos Building on the 200 block of West Water Street.
