Athletes are primed to compete during the third annual Shamrock Run on Saturday, March 8, with proceeds from the event going to the Tipperary Neighborhood Association. Interested runners should register at www.tipphillrun.com. The race takes place at Burnet Park, Coleridge Avenue and Burnet Park Drive. A six-tenths-mile fun race for children starts at 10 a.m., with the four-mile run beginning at 11 a.m. Registration for the race costs $15 in advance, $20 on race day, while the children’s race costs $5.
