The Syracuse New Times won 13 awards in the 36th annual Professional Recognition Awards Contest of the Syracuse Press Club.

Eight were for first place; five were for second place.

  • All print media headline writing: Bill DeLapp.
  • All print media photo essay: Michael Davis.
