City of Syracuse Water Commissioner
Mike Ryan (pictured with bullhorn) was one of several guides who led
more than 800 curiosity seekers during public tours held Aug. 8 inside
Westcott Reservoir, where the ongoing construction of two water tanks
is nearing the finish line. Each tank will hold 32 million gallons of
Skaneateles Lake water, with the price tag for the reservoir’s rehab
project coming in at about $40 million.
