Art Zimmer, owner/publisher of the Syracuse New Times,
announced today that nine area Wegmans supermarkets will be added to the distribution network for the circulation of the newspaper.
The Syracuse New Times is currently distributed to more than 900 outlets throughout Central New York. The New Times is the most popular publication in Central New York. The addition of these nine prime Wegmans locations will increase the accessibility of the popular newspaper even more.
The locations selected are:
7518 Oswego Road, Liverpool
700 First North St., Syracuse (Pond Street store)
6789 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville (DeWitt store)
4722 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse
7952 Brewerton Road, Cicero
4979 W. Taft Road, Liverpool
3955 Route 31, Liverpool
4256 James St., East Syracuse
3325 W. Genesee St., Syracuse (Fairmount)
Additional locations may be added soon.
No current outlets or circulation numbers were decreased to accommodate this expansion.Several thousand additional papers will be printed each week to fill the Wegmans racks.
The Syracuse New Times circulates more than 35,000 copies per week and the popular Web site, www.syracusenewtimes.com, receives over a million hits per month.
The New Times' circulation numbers are certified as
correct by a national auditing firm, so they cannot be exaggerated as
many other publications do.
