Sensory Friendly Storytime

Saturday, October 11, Soule Saturday, October 25,  Beauchamp Sensory friendly storytime is an inclusive, interactive storytime for children with sensory integration issues and for differently abled children at a preschool developmental level. Introduced through a Picture Activity Schedule each program combines books, songs, movement and activities to promote learning and play. Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21 and 28 *Registration is Required* Soule Branch is now offering one-on-one computer training sessions! Each hour-long Tuesday morning session will cover basic computer skills tailored to your individual needs. Registration is required- We will not be able to accommodate walk-in appointments. To schedule a session, call the library at 435-5320.  If for any reason you cannot attend your scheduled session, we ask that you please give us 24-hour advanced notice.

Teen Family History Project

Teens, come learn how to research your family tree through genealogy, one of the fastest growing hobbies in the U.S. Learn how to trace your family history using Ancestry.com, family group sheets and other resources. You will become acquainted with basic research techniques that involve taking oral histories from older family members and collecting family ancestral information. Participants will be assisted in creating a simple family tree to take home.
