Call for Haudenosaunee Artists

The Cayuga Museum of History and Art invites Haudenosaunee artists to submit works for our upcoming exhibit, “A Living Legacy: Arts of the Haudenosaunee.”  Artwork/s of any subject matter and media are welcome, the only requirement is that you self-identify as Haudenosaunee.   Works may be for sale and/or you may provide pieces for sale in our gift shop during the duration of the exhibit. “Living Legacy” will open September 19, 2014 at the Cayuga Museum, and run through October 26,…

Auburn at Normandy: the 299th Combat Engineers and Local Stories of WWII tells the story of a large group of Auburn men who served together throughout World War II in the storied 299th Combat Engineer Battalion. The 299th were among the first Allied troops to hit the beach in France on D-Day and were tasked with incapacitating the German defenses.
