LODGING LANDMARK The Heritage of the Hotel Syracuse

The Onondaga Historical Association Museum (OHA) has opened a new photography exhibit to celebrate the pending renovation of downtown Syracuse’s landmark Hotel Syracuse. The hotel, which opened in 1924, has been closed and dormant for several years but a new owner has begun a massive project to renovate it for the future while restoring its grand architecture.   July 11, 2015.  Onondaga Historical Association is sponsoring a bus tour that will visit the Seward House Museum and Cayuga Museum and Case Research Center in Auburn.  At 9 am, the group will board an Onondaga Coach bus at a Destiny USA lot located at the corner of Hiawatha Boulevard and Solar Street.  The tour will travel to Seward House, followed by a relaxing lunch in Emerson Park.
