In these yoga classes, the mixture of alignment-based poses and straight and curved lines will allow you to explore your relationship with your body and the art that surrounds you. Taught by Dara Harper, this class will challenge your form and precision within poses. All skill levels welcome. Bring your own yoga mat and a blanket. Some yoga mats available on a first come first served basis. Wear comfortable clothing.
About the Instructor:
Dara has been teaching yoga for 16 years and specializes in pose-precision and body alignment. Dara has studied with many great teachers including John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga, Douglas Brooks, Desiree Rumbaugh, Sianna Sherman, Doug Keller, and Tom Myers, a Rolfer and author of the book Anatomy Trains. These will be strong classes for any student: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Students will all be cared for and challenged simultaneously with active stretching, weight-bearing poses, such as downward facing dog and plank, and breathwork. Dara is attentive and patient and loves to watch her students blossom.
