Jerry’s Story

Travel with William “Jerry” Henry as he escapes slavery in Missouri, seeks safety in New York State and finally finds his freedom in Canada.  The most famous event of his dangerous journey took place right here in Syracuse, the  1851 “Jerry Rescue”, Meet those who hindered him as well those who helped him on his search for liberty in this compelling two- person presentation .
