To commemorate the nation’s 150th anniversary observance of the Civil War, OHA mounted a George Barnard exhibit. Barnard, an extraordinary photographer, was a technical innovator, commercial pioneer, and important taste-maker in one of our pivotal periods. Ever a New Season reintroduces an exciting early figure to a region already attuned to and highly literate in contemporary photography. Barnard resided in Oswego and Syracuse before the war and retired to Marcellus for his last decade. This exhibit is up until September 21, 2014. OHA is located at 321 Montgomery St., Syracuse, NY.
Hours are Wednesday to Friday, 10-4, Saturday and Sunday, 11-4.
