July 9, 2014 – It’s those people who never give up that are an inspiration to so many of us. It’s those people who give so much to others, never taking anything for themselves. This is one of those stories.
We ask for your help getting the word out about an upcoming benefit for Christine Coleates – A Camillus woman who has spent the past two years caring for her three nieces and nephews as their mother, Christine’s sister, suffered from colorectal cancer. Now, Christine is in the fight for her own life having been diagnosed in May with Stage IV Gliobastoma Brain Cancer.
A benefit will be held on Saturday, July 26th at the Elks Lodge #2367 on Newport Rd in Camillus, NY from 1 – 6:00 pm. The community has rallied and several local bands have donated their time to perform, as well as donations for raffle items for attendees. Tickets are $20. And any and all cash or in-kind contributions are welcome. Donations will also be accepted online at https://www.everribbon.com/chrissysfund or https://www.gofundme.com/a7lfwo
