Experience the regional premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s Tony-nominated musical “Bonnie and Clyde” July 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8:00pm
Fascination with America’s most notorious outlaw couple has never waned, receiving an engaging musical score by composer Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Civil War) for a Broadway run in 2011. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow meet in Depression-era West Texas, building a media-generated reputation by holding up stores and banks. The law puts the pressure on once murder becomes routine, creating a chaotic wake that takes down those closest to them.
Wildhorn’s unique score stylizes country, blues, western, and pop, bringing this nostalgic and romantic tale to life.
